As Contract Manager, you will perform work on behalf of Robust Steel Structures B.V. and Robust Bouw B.V. in the Netherlands.

What will you do?

The core of the position is to take a leading role throughout the contract and risk management process, ensuring that the contractual and commercial interests of the projects are safeguarded. As Contract Manager, you will report to the Manager Projects.

Who are we looking for?

Someone involved in both tender and project realisation and able to negotiate contract matters. We expect you to play an advisory role within projects for both legal and commercial risks that may arise.

You are capable of writing good contract letters and notifications. In doing so, you obviously have sound knowledge of and experience in reading and rewriting contracts. You can prepare control analyses, spreadsheets and graphical representations of the projects, but you are also able to prepare claims.

With your knowledge and experience, you can advise the project managers on the strategy for the execution of contracts. In doing so, you keep your knowledge up to date and are aware of current national and international (legal) regulations, developments, laws and regulations within contract management and therefore well able to identify risks. In this role, you are therefore able to manage and call to account all those involved, both internally and externally, regarding compliance with the contract.

What do you bring?

Expertise, solution-oriented and innovative insight. You can argue your point of view well, and can do so both orally and in a written presentation. Naturally, you bring a solid portion of negotiation skills to this role. In terms of content and level, your knowledge must be at least equivalent to HBO (with technical affinity), supplemented by specialist courses and/or training.

In addition, you will preferably have more than 10 years' work experience in a similar position, where you have been able to demonstrate strength in the field of construction contracts, having knowledge of and experience in construction and contracting. We therefore expect an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing.
